Proposed Dwelling at Atlantic Drive, Downings
This site is located in Downings along the Atlantic Drive. It is a rural area that has been blighted by repetitive holiday home architecture.
The client wanted an open airy dwelling that made the most of the stunning views of Sheephaven Bay whilst integrating into its landscape but steering away from the repetitive styles of the surrounding architecture.
What evolved was a dwelling that create strong links between inside and outside with a style rooted firmly in the rural vernacular of Donegal.
